Dragon Age Origins Difficulty

So I had read some reviews of the Dragon Age Origins prior to getting it for Christmas and they all said that the console version was MUCH easier than the PC version and it may be that i am just bad at the game but i have died so many times in the urn place in haven (almost wrote new haven form borderlands)along with dieing quite a bit in the blood mage headquarters in the capital of ferelden (can't remember the name). Again i could just be bad but the game seems rather challenging compared to Mass Effect, Fallout 3, and Oblivion. Oh and I am playing on the normal difficulty level.Dragon Age Origins Difficulty
Are you still stuck somewhere? What party and main skills/spells are you using?

Anyways, yes, the urn temple was tricky and the slavers boss was a really tough fight. Mostly because of how stupid Alistair is :Dragon Age Origins Difficulty
|What's your group set up? It's very important to get a balanced group in Dragon age, personally I went with a tank, 1 mage, 1 rogue and 1 healer. Also make sure to always cast range AoE spells on archers, as their scattershot stuns you in later games. Position your characters manually, make sure the tank is not out of line of sight of healer. Spec each characters into a specific role. Those are some quick advices until you could give me your group set up :P. I played on PC btw
I find the game be very hard. I had to switch it to Casual lol.
i play on pc and was hard until i get the freezing magic
The game is very very challenging on both PC and consoles. Yes the pc version is a little harder but that doesnt mean the console versions are easy. Its one of the tougher games around imo.
Well one main reason that i did not mention why iit is so hard right now is thati accidently left morrigan out of party because i wanted the assassin that tried to kill me (i originally planned to kill him but when he was on the ground he reminded me of puss in boots from shrek and was pretty charismatic) so i was going to take him instead of alistair but some how i ended up with my dog, me (another rogue), alistair, and the assassin. So now i have 4 melee characters and nothing to keep me alive but the occasional health soulstice or whatever it's called. Some how my dog seems to always survive but all the other 3 characters have like 5 or 6 injuries each. I just got to my second drake and i hope the temple ends soon or i am done for.
