ok well you get what I'm talking about with topic title but i will have demos that are downloaded to my console and they will randomly say disk unreadable when there is no disk being used to run it also i have a brand new game on CD that i try playing and it also says when i start to get into some maps Disk unreadable but yet it is a brand new game just got last night. the weird thing is is that it sometimes acts up yet some times doesn't i tested the CD and the Hard drive already in another console i know it is the x-box it's self and yes the power supply is elevated on some small bars that are in the holding station i got from walmart thats completely open yet it still gets hot from time to time but not where it shuts down i would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and maybe know how to fix it please and thanks if someone can helpmy X-box 360 freezes and will say disk u ...
That was the longest sentence I have ever read... Anyway, it might be your laser disk drive that's on the fritz. Do a thread search and you should get some hits about what to do with this problem. ok it is already horizontal and we just cleaned the dust out of it it worked for a little bit then it stopped working. i don't get why the demo thats on the hard drive didn't work tho. it is as if it is a hard drive malfunction yet i tested the hard drive and it was fine and it is now out of warranty so i can't send it back now. I tried looking through and i didn't find anything in the forms yet either.
