Help with Xbox....

Today for christmas I got a brand new xbox from bestbuy and two brand new games( Rainbow six vegas and lord of the rings conquest). I was playing Rainbow six and hit the menu button and all of a sudden it says it cant read the disk. Same thing happened later on today with the other game. How do i fix it?Help with Xbox....
That's strange. I'd continue to test it out and if it keeps up I'd just take it back and exchange it for another.Help with Xbox....
Blow the disk and then wipe it down with a clean cloth.

Take a good look at the cables. Because if they're not 100% in. It will give u either that message or Rrod. Take off the plastic stick from the dvd drive and ontop of the HDD. Try to play the game without the HDD and then with.
If all fails it could be a faulty DVD-ROM drive in your 360. They have been known to conk out...I had a Sammy drive conk out on me in one of my past 360 a few years ago.. but it was due to age more likely. Since yours is new it's hard to believe it would fail so soon, but it being a 360 I wouldn't count it out.

This has been an issue with all 360's and it doesn't look like it can be corrected by Microsoft, it's just a design flaw I think. I think the drive is faulty, exchange it while you can the games the 360 etc. Since it's from Best Buy they should be more than willing to exchange it for you..problem solved :)
