my Ac2 is glitched. (minor spoilers)

i'm at the part where i take the boat to venice with leonardo, but then i exit the animus, do the little climbing/switch pressing thing, then have the hallucination with altair. there's NO way for me to climb the fort where the target is. wtf? (i never went to venice either)my Ac2 is glitched. (minor spoilers)
Its normaly like that, many people cant get it (i passd mines without any problems actually) but you will find the right button scheme eventually (i had some problems with climbing stuff in one of the tombs myself)my Ac2 is glitched. (minor spoilers)

where exactly is it that i have to climb?
Sorry i actually lost my game a few weeks ago (had it for ps3) and i honestly forgot.
I had the same problem.



Ya know how where the door is? Well, run up the wall where the door is located and then you need to press the A button to jump back and it will swing the lamp up so its laying on the top of the post. Then you'll be able to jump up from the ledge, atleast thats how I did it.
when ur infront of the tower, run up the door way, and make ur way to the left, then above u will c a balcony, climb up that, then stay on the ledge of the balcony to try n jump onto the wooden plank type thing and the rest is pretty much self-explanatory
