i got 2 pc's a ps3 and an xbox i can connect both pc's and the ps3 at the same time without any lag on any 3 but when i connect the xbox to say mw2, my pc's or ps3 say their still connected to the internet but i cant open any page an it comes back with a dns error
i got a blekin wireless (disabled wireless i only use wired) F5D7234-4 v3 (01) is there anyway to stop the xbox stealing ALL the bandwidth when it obviously doesent need 40mb (virgin media fiberoptic broadband)
or to limit the xbox to a set % of bandwidth?
any help would be apreciatedstealing all bandwidth?
That is weird, sounds like your Xbox isn't just stealing the bandwidth its also rendering the network unusable. Have you had this happen with another router? stealing all bandwidth?
isnt a bandwidth problem a the 360 doesnt tke up anymore bandwidth than the ps3 does.
Are you running them ALL at the same time? because the 360 might just be the straw that broke the camels back...
if not then its likely a problem with the router if its a DNS error.
weird, because my PC takes up ALL my bandwidth when I'm on 360, I wish I was in your situation tbh:(I have a Belkin Wireless as well, but nothing special.
it only happens when i put the xbox on :/ i can have all on at once or just a pcor ps3 and xbox it still happens
this didnt happen with the old router so no :/
right,,,well forgive me if I dont beleive that you arent running everything at once judging by your initial post but that suspision aside I dont know what could be causing this, best thing you can do in all likely hood is start asking around customer support
