2 xbox's with 1 xbox live account?

OK, so I have an xbox with a hard drive on the third floor of my house. My bedroom is on the first floor of my house and I want an xbox for down there too. Could I just buy an xbox arcade and then bring my hard drive down whenever I want to play downstairs and logon to xbox live?2 xbox's with 1 xbox live account?

Yep, as long as you recover your xbox live account once (for the lifetime of the specific hardrive) to the harddrive, you can move the harddrive whereever you want, and log on to your account in any xbox that has the harddrive attached to it.
and as long as you have internet connection via wireless or corded at both areas
