help trancefering game saves

ok so i had an original xbox then i got an elite so i wanted to transfer the data from the original to the elite so i recovered my gt and i am downloading all the stuff i downloaded on the original but my game saves arnt there so i called game stop and they said i needed a memory card but they didnt tell me how to use it im getting it tomorrow so when i get the memory card how do i transfer game saveshelp trancefering game saves

I'm not to sure you actually can transfer saves from the original xbox to the 360. Sorry but from what Ive read on these forums gamestops staff arent an incredibly intelligent bunch and half of them seem to just make stuff up as they go.Unless someone can correct me I think you'll just have to restart

didnt know there was a transfer cable from getting saves off the original xbox (and he means original pre-360) to the 360...point it out?

haha complete stupidity on my part, that was my mistake and i apologise, but on that note i dont think it can be done
