Xbox liive in Iraq

Alright so I'm currently deployed and finally got my XBL set up here. It's pretty cool except for the fact that some games I find join any matchmaking games. I'll start searching for players but it will never find anyone. I'm guessing it's because I'm in Iraq so it's looking for other Iraqi players. Anyone know if it's possible to get around this?Xbox liive in Iraq

Yeah I can connect with friends in any game but since I'm 10 hours ahead alot of the time my friends arent online when I'd like to play. It's like this on ODST, Gears, IL-2... Well most all of my games besides Uno and Left 4 Dead.

I have several friends whom have been over there as well as my Father In Law, I can ask them for some info %26 get back with you if you fail to sort it out.

You could always add a few dozen Europeans to your friends list and play with them (seeing how they are only a few hours behind you). They would most likely be on the same time you are on. Don't you get tons of sand in your xbox? haha
