When I'm playing a game specifically a shooter such as MW2, GRAW2 my controller shuts off for no apparent reason. AC2 doesn't shut off just these two games. I was also playing FNR4 demo and it kept shutting off, it was unplayable for about 2 minutes. It's your batteries.
Batteries, it will happen when the controller rumbles.
Get fresh batteries and they won't die... You can't expect the batteries that came with the Xbox to last forever...

Never had that problem.
happens to me all the time. 360 controllers dont age well.
