I picked out 3 things from the list on the dashboard: madden arcade, afl legacy pack, and wardens keep. does anyone here know how i go about receiving the 800 points EA owes me?
Wait, were thoes 3 things free?and to your question.. I have no idea.EA 800 free ms points deal
no they were not free. the deal is you pick 3 items from the list and you buy them and then they are supposed to give you 800 points. only thing is it doesnt say how or when.
where is the list
I'm glad someone made this thread. The list is when you highlight the huge ''EA Get 800 MS Points'' ad on the Spotlight section on the Dashboard I believe. But here's the list. It include DLC, Games on Demand, Arcade games, etc. It ends on January 31st. So if the Battlefield 1943 is really 560 in that 14 days deal, it's better to wait for that.
wow - had no idea there was something like this running. Looks like some good deals on there, and if there are 3 things on there that you genuinely want, you could grab a really good bargain. No word on when the 800MS would be given back to you, though the deal is running until 31st Jan

Thru is a word. You see it all the time in advertizing.
This is most likely just like the Summer of Arcade titles, when you bought them all you got points back. That took roughly 4-6 weeks to give the credit back one the promo ended. So you are looking at early March most likely.
This however is not straight through Microsoft however, and perhaps with EA it is different. But either way I would expect somewhere between a month or two like the last promo.
They need more deals that give you 800 points and not some silly little 100 points.

But man I wish the Fallout 3 DLC some how counted for this 800 ms points back, that would've been a great deal.
They'll probably e-mail you a code.

Must be an American thing. I have never seen it used.
