Is halo3: Odst online good?

There was a bungle i bought the other day that let me pick up 2 games of my choosing i wanted to get exclusives games to picked halo 3: odst and modernwarfare 2 (i kno its not exclusive) im planning to use my xbox360 for exclusives and my ps3 for multiplats. Is teh online in hal3; odst good? I mean like how big is teh community? I heard the campaign was short and stuff but i wanted to know about teh online. Is halo3: Odst online good?
Halo 3: ODST is a 2 disk game. The first disk comes with the ODST campaign, where you play as a drop trooper in a city %26 play through flash backs. It also has firefight, which you can play online, which pits you %26 3 others against waves of enemies until you die. The second disk is the original Halo 3 multiplayer with all the map packs included. This is the main multiplayer feature, %26 is probably my favorite multiplayer game ever. It still has a massive community, probably only second to Modern Warfare 2, mainly because MW2 is new. Basically, the multiplayer that comes with ODST is one of the main console multiplayer games at the moment.

Also, I suggest you get your multiplats on the 360, unless they are ports such as Final Fantasy XIII, which you should get on the PS3. Most games that were intended originally for both consoles run smoother on the 360, with very few exceptions. Is halo3: Odst online good?

I think not.

Take a look at all 5 of Gamespot's PS3 vs. 360 Graphics Comparisons and you will have a pretty good idea of what to expect with multiplats (360 is generally the lead platform and, thus, the games usually look and/or perform slightly better on the system. Plus, if you are in to games like MW2, the online community will be much larger). The Halo 3 community, as stated, is massive. You will be connected to everyone (even people with only the Halo 3 disc). Basically everyone has the new maps by now, and you can play with those who don't in different playlists (Social Slayer), which are also always very active with many players.

As for games released at the same time comparisons show that a majority of 360 multiplats are superior, so think again. As for the Halo 3 community, give me some numbers. Last time I played, which was about a month back, there was something like 300,000 people online. This was during the US prime time though. If you aren't American, you're probably playing during their off peak hours, which will effect most games.
Your view on the ps3 is wrong.
I'm glad you're post was clear %26 thorough. :roll:I'm buying a 250GB Slim in a week or so. The PS3 has amazing exclusives, %26 I would say it has more exclusives that I'm interested in then the 360. With that said, I think your views on the PS3 are wrong, that's if we're talking about the same thing (majority of multiplats being better on the 360, yes?). I would probably buy multiplat fighters, as long as the frame rate difference wasn't to extreme, for the PS3 because of it's DPad. I would buy all shooters for the 360 because the controller is much better suited for shooters, %26 that's not including any technical issues that may be in the game. For the most part, multiplats are nearly identical. I would still buy them for the 360 for achievements %26 better online alone.Until you better explain the right views on the PS3, I'm going to stick with mine.
