basically i really like rpg's, but i cant stand menu fighting and there are only a few games that i think have done it well, i was never really into the whole final fantasy thing, but ive been told i should give this game a go. but i cant find any videos other than the ones where it shows off the games menu fighting what i want to know is, what are the quests like and what other strengths does the game have (i know the graphics are awesome but that dosent bother me) and is the story and other parts of the game alone enough to keep you interested? :Dcan you enjoy lost odyssey without likin ...

If you don't like the gameplay then you probably won't like the game. I love JRPGs and like the menu setup more than the more modern action style. But that's just me.
I didn't finish it (on disc 3), but I liked the battle system with the rings you can combine (made physical attacks feel more active), the magic attacks are what you expect but you can teach your characters skills from humans or using items (forgot the proper name). Good music, well done story (though a little 'emo' at times and some parts drag on though).



If you don't like menu fighting, then I can't say if you will like it.

no im not asking for a game recommendation. i'm asking a question about a specific game which im unsure about. therefore its allowed. if your a mod where are your mod symbols next to your name?
