hard assasins creed 2 level help

i need help with this level.i come out of the machine and touch a bunch of butttens then the girl tells you to go sleep.u have a dream and ur cahsing a guy and i think ur the guy from the old 1 but urr running after this guy and he locks himself in a tower.i climb to a part of the tower and theres a door on a ledge with awooeden bar and a lantern hanging of and i cant grab it so im jumping on top of the door and if i jump left or right i just fall.i just need to know what to do.hard assasins creed 2 level help
you're supposed to jump on the wooden bar. it took me a while but its doablehard assasins creed 2 level help
you dont need to jump from the edge. stand right below the bar, dont hold any direction key, but just hold A and jump up.
I had the same problem today. What I did was stand on the edge to the left and jump straight toward the wall and as he hit the wall press a and move the right stick to the right and he grabbed on. It took me a while to figure it out but it worked.
I ran up the door and jumped out to the ledge. When I jumped to the ledge, I knocked the lantern ontop of the pole and then was able to jump up
