Can you play US games ona European Xbox?Region Codes for 360
This is an educated guess, but I think you can not. That is why they have the labels on them. Like Army of Two (US) / (EU).Region Codes for 360
no ! us and european games and systems have different region code `( us ntsc europe pal ) and games of one region code works on xbox of same region code . although a few games are region free so they can work on any console so bette check out on net for the games you are planning to play

Is there no universal charity rule going around?
region codes means to play japanese game u got to put it on japanese console and same goes for other regions

of course they are, without local markets the country would collapse
It depends on the game. Some 360 games are region free and some are not. Here is a list.

yes you can,ive played a PAL(from england) version of gears 2 ,assassins creed 2 , and ledft for dead on my NTSC(american) XBOX 360...the only region locked game i know is army of 2
dstv, I think you are right, but I think the region locked games are actually more than Army of Two, just the only way to identify them is by the country abbreviation in brackets beside their name.
